Naked Ash Barley

Characteristics

A Hulless Barley named MT Kidd that is roasted to SRM 350. This has a flavor profile of sweet cigar, Coffee Grounds and Ashy.

The absence of a husk produces a barley that won’t have the harsh tannins when it’s roasted. Use in small percentages for beers such as Irish Dry Stouts, Porters and other dark beers.
