Madison is a Munich-style malt falling in the 60 SRM color range. When incorporated in a beer’s malt bill, this malt contributes a dark golden color refined, subtle honey and caramel sweetness and notes of pecans and toffee. It may be used to add color, body, and malty flavor to a variety of beer styles. It is also suitable to be used in higher quantities in the more maltier traditional German beer styles like Marzen or Dunkel.
