Use and Application
Jefferson White Wheat Malt is another one of our first malts produced at Gallatin Valley Malt. Created with white wheat grown on our farm, Jefferson provides a full, fluffy mouthfeel with notes of dough, hay, honey, and melon. In addition, its high protein content promotes excellent head retention and is also make it suitable to use in styles where more haze is desired such as New England IPA. Jefferson can be used in a variety of beer styles, from classic Hefeweizens to more adventurous farmhouse styles.
All of our malts are grown and malted sustainably from field to kiln on our farm in Manhattan, MT.
